We’re back! Black Brew Culture's celebration of beer, food, art, and entertainment has returned for year FOUR. You’re officially invited to join us for a month-long showcase of craft beer and culinary events that is sure to be the preeminent Black craft beer festival in the country!

What's new in '23? Blacktoberfest Beer Fest and Bull City BBQ Bash have merged to bring an amazing display of craft beer and BBQ excellence to Durham, NC. Our flagship event will be held at a new venue - Garland Court in historical Old East Durham and will feature our traditional offerings of music, entertainment, beer and vendors, as well as the added excitement of our new four-category BBQ competition. 20 local and national crews will compete for cash awards, and the grand prize trophy, the coveted BCBB People’s Choice award. And of course, we have BEER. 30 Black-owned breweries and collaborators combine to round out this year’s craft offerings, along with 4 Black-owned wine and spirits brands.

Blacktoberfest 2023 - The Masters will highlight Brew Masters and Pit Masters alike in one incredible event. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample some of the best craft beers and BBQ in the country, while enjoying live music, engaging in interactive activities, and learning from industry experts.
